Cleveland Heights Fine Art Photo Printing
A photograph isn’t truly finished until it lives in the physical world. At Kobi.Studio, we don’t outsource your memories or our artistic work to automated online print mills or mass-production retail kiosks.
We print exclusively using premium, archival paper stocks imported from Japan, manually color-calibrating and hand-adjusting exposure for every run to ensure deep contrast, rich blacks, and stunning gallery-level depth.
Finishes, Weights & Custom Paper Stocks
The texture and weight of a print entirely change how you experience an image. Because we handle everything in a true artisan studio space, we offer many types of paper across diverse weights, display sizes, and surface textures.
-
Vibrant Glossy: Delivers maximum dynamic range, razor-sharp details, and high-impact color saturation. Excellent for bold, high-contrast modern images.
-
Smooth Matte: A beautiful, completely reflection-free finish featuring a soft, elegant surface texture. Ideal for painterly fine art, moody landscapes, and deep documentary photojournalism.
-
Classic Luster: The absolute timeless gallery standard. It balances the rich color pop of a glossy finish with the fingerprint-resistant, glare-reducing properties of a matte face.
-
Specialty Fine Art Papers (Upon Request): Need something unique? We can source specialty production media including heavy canvas sheets, metallic-base papers, and heavily textured watercolor rag stocks to accommodate custom artistic briefs.

Ordering & Sessions
+ How do I actually order prints from my photo session?
You have two easy options! You can select and order your physical prints directly inside your online digital proofing gallery, or you can pick out your favorite images with us right at the end of your scheduled shoot.
+ Can I mix and match different photos to hit the “Bulk 20+” discount?
Yes, absolutely! Your bulk discount applies to the total number of prints in your order cart, meaning you can mix and match as many different images from your gallery as you like to reach the 20+ savings threshold.
+ Do my prints include extra editing or photo restoration?
Our standard print pricing applies to finalized images from your session or print-ready files you bring to us. However, if an old family heirloom needs advanced digital photo restoration, or if an image requires custom retouching before hitting the press, we proudly offer those creative services as an optional add-on.
+ Can I buy a loose print now and bring it back to be framed later?
Of course. If you want to order loose sheets today to protect your budget, you are welcome to bring them back to the studio down the road to take advantage of our framing services separately.
Paper, Files & Technical Specs
+ What paper finishes do you offer, and how heavy is the stock?
We stock premium archival papers imported from Japan in a wide variety of weights, sizes, and textures. While our core menu features vibrant glossy, smooth matte, and classic luster, we can source specialty finishes including canvas sheets, metallic papers, and textured stocks upon special request. If you aren’t sure which finish fits your photo best, stop by the studio we will gladly show you physical samples and help you choose the perfect match.
+ Can I bring my own external files to be printed, and what formats do you take?
We love printing work for local Cleveland creators. You can upload your files to us online or simply bring them directly into our Cleveland Heights studio on a thumb drive. We accept any standard image file format, though we always recommend submitting the highest resolution version you have for the crispest print results.
+ Do you offer borderless printing, or do prints have a border?
Our studio default is to print images with a clean, classic white border around the artwork, which looks beautiful when framed. However, if you prefer a full-bleed, edge-to-edge borderless print, just let us know when ordering and we will gladly accommodate your request.
+ Can you scan and digitize a physical painting or old family photo for me?
Yes! If you bring a physical painting, sketch, or a vintage physical photograph into the studio, we can professionally scan and digitize it so that it can be archived, restored, or run through our print press for high-quality duplicates.
+ Do you offer test strips or proof prints before a large order?
Definitely. If you are preparing a large commercial order or running a limited fine-art print edition, we want to make sure the contrast and colors are exactly how you envisioned them. We happily run test strips and proof prints to verify quality before executing the final press run.
Framing & Quality
+ What do your frames look like, and how are they built?
Our base frame upgrade pricing covers a clean, modern, ready-to-hang gallery frame equipped with standard mounting hardware. Because we custom-build to your tastes, we offer options for both premium custom wood frames, anti-glare/UV-protective glass upgrades, and your choice of mounting the print directly against the glass or using an elegant mat board border.
+ How long will these prints last before they start to fade?
A lifetime. We use professional wide-format art presses paired with genuine, high-stability archival inks and premium papers designed to resist fading and yellowing for decades under normal display conditions.
Logistics & Studio Info
+ What is your standard turnaround time?
Because we are an independent, local studio rather than a mass-production automated factory line, turnaround times vary depending on our active print queue. Smaller, simple orders can often be turned around in as little as an hour, while custom framing and massive print runs may take up to 72 hours.
+ Can I pick up my prints directly from the studio?
Yes, local studio pickup at our Cleveland Heights location is highly preferred! It lets you inspect your finished prints in person and completely eliminates shipping and handling fees.
+ Is there a minimum order amount for printing?
We have a $15 studio order minimum for standalone printing services.
