I’m Kobi, a photographer and independent printer working right here in the Cedar Lee Arts District of Cleveland Heights at kobi.studio.
If you are looking for an automated kiosk or an anonymous online lab that processes files through a completely automated workflow, that isn’t what we do. Instead, kobi.studio offers personal, hands-on photo printing and art reproduction for local photographers, painters, illustrators, actors, and families across Cleveland Heights, University Circle, and the Greater Cleveland area.
What Makes My Printing Different?
Real Human File Review: Every single image is personally reviewed before printing. We check brightness, contrast, skin tones, composition, and cropping so you can catch potential problems before ink hits paper.
Direct Communication: You talk directly to the person making your print. If an image needs a different crop, color adjustment, or paper choice, we reach out before running the job.
Professional Equipment & Archival Media: Your work is printed in-house using professional Epson and Canon large-format equipment, paired with carefully selected archival media designed to last for generations.
Local Convenience: Skip shipping delays and damaged packages. Local pickup is available right here in Cleveland Heights, and we can also safely package and ship finished prints anywhere.

+ What file format and resolution do you recommend?
Just send me the highest resolution file you have with no added filters or heavy compression. I accept all standard image formats (JPEG, TIFF, PNG). If you are a professional photographer with an exact color managed workflow, just let me know your specifications and color profiles when you upload.
+ How many megapixels does my file need for a large print?
Megapixels aren’t everything. Print quality depends heavily on your viewing distance, subject matter, and sharpening. For instance, even a 12MP image can look remarkably sharp on a large display because of how people view it from a distance. If you are ever worried about your file’s quality, upload it and I’ll personally check it for you before printing.
+ Do you adjust my colors or contrast before printing?
Yes. Unlike automated online labs that run batch scripts, I personally review every single file. adjustments like light balancing, exposure tweaks, and optimization for accurate skin tones may not be included in your print price.
+ Is retouching or old photo restoration included?
Advanced digital retouching, object removal, or deep historical photo restoration of damaged pictures are extra add on services that require a separate custom quote.
+ Do I get a proof before you print a large order?
For massive volume orders, fine art editions, or large custom pieces, I can set up a small physical test print or test strip for you to review. This ensures the contrast and colors match your expectations before running the full job.
+ How do I order standalone prints if I didn’t book a shoot?
You don’t need to book a session to print here. Just upload your files through the form above, include your contact information, and leave any size or finish notes. If I need any more details to get started, I’ll reach out to you directly.
+ Is there a minimum order amount for printing?
Yes, there is a $15 studio order minimum for standalone printing services.
+ Can I order oversized statement prints like 24×36 or larger?
Yes, but with a note on size: my in house professional setup prints up to 13 inches wide (in lengths like 12×24 or custom roll sizes). For massive wall pieces larger than 13 inches wide, I can custom quote and coordinate production for you.
+ Can you print on specialty media like canvas or metallic stocks?
Yes. I can source canvas wraps, metallic base papers, and heavy textured watercolor rag sheets. Because these are specialty materials, I custom quote them individually based on your project requirements.
+ What paper finish do you recommend for headshots vs. art prints?
It comes down to final use. Actor headshots look best on Smooth Matte or Classic Luster so they don’t reflect harsh casting room lights. Family photo albums and vibrant landscapes often pop beautifully on Glossy or Luster surfaces. I’m always happy to help you pick the right fit.
+ Do you offer limited edition numbering or artist signatures?
Yes. I work directly with local creators and artists in the Cedar Lee arts district to accommodate custom borders, limited exhibition runs, signed series, and formatting for certificates of authenticity.
+ How do I bundle print packages with a portrait shoot or headshot session?
If you book a photo session with me, custom print bundles and gallery collections can be built directly into your package, and you’ll receive preferred client pricing on your physical prints.
+ How many actor headshots should I print at once?
It depends on how many auditions you have coming up. I generally recommend starting with a minimum batch of 20 or more to unlock volume tier pricing. Saving your layout files in my system means you can easily reorder later without setup fees.
+ Can I reorder the exact same headshot setup later without extra setup fees?
Yes. I save your exact layout files, border dimensions, and text specifications directly in my system so you can easily reorder runs with zero setup friction.
+ Can you scan and replicate old family photos or physical paintings?
Yes. Bring your physical pieces, vintage negatives, or old family photos right into the studio for high definition digital archive scanning and reproduction.
+ How long will my archival prints last before fading?
I use professional high stability inks and premium paper stocks designed to resist fading for decades under normal conditions. For best results, keep loose sheets in albums or frame them behind glass away from direct sunlight.
+ Do you offer custom framing, matting, or mounting?
Yes, but these are handled on a case by case basis. If you need your prints framed, matted, or mounted for an exhibition or home display, contact me directly for a custom quote.
+ What is your policy on last-minute rush orders?
If you have an urgent gallery deadline or an unexpected audition, contact me directly. I will always do my absolute best to accommodate rush requests depending on my current studio queue.
+ Do you ship prints outside of the Cleveland area?
Yes, I can safely package and ship prints anywhere. However, I always encourage local studio pickup right here in the Cedar Lee district so you can inspect your physical prints in person.
