Cleveland lifestyle family photographer by Kobi.Studio
Real smiles. Real moments. Photos you’ll be proud to hang on the wall today and pass down to your children and grandchildren for decades to come.
I’m Kobi, a Cleveland photographer who specializes in relaxed, lifestyle family sessions. I capture both beautiful posed portraits and the natural, candid moments in between letting kids play and be kids while I quietly document the true feeling of your family.
Whether you’re a busy mom wanting to finally get in the frame with your children, a blended family, or grandparents who want to document the legacy you’ve built, I’m here to make the experience simple and meaningful.
What Matters Most to You Matters to Me
Family portraits may feel like a chore, but they shouldn’t. You deserve real smiles and real moments.
You deserve photos you will be proud to hang on your wall today and pass down to your children and grandchildren decades from now.
Getting all people to look at a camera at the same time is a challenge I take that off your plate.
I can provide clear direction and professional posing that makes everyone look natural, connected, and at their absolute best.
I understand that multi generational sessions require a different pace. Whether it’s giving the grand kids a break or ensuring grandparents are comfortable and properly lit, I prioritize the well being of your family over a fast session.
What a Session With Me Feels Like
Working with me will feels relaxed, warm, and genuine very much like hanging out with your family.
I provide just enough direction so you never feel lost, but I leave plenty of room for your family’s real personality to shine through.
You will not leave the session feeling exhausted from posing. Instead, you will leave feeling like you just spent quality time with the people you love most.
I focus on a clean, professional, and classic style. I want you to look at these photos in twenty years and still feel the same pride you feel today.
Family Legacy Portrait FAQ
+ What is the best time of year for family photos in Cleveland?
For the most flattering natural light and comfortable temperatures for every generation, I recommend late May through June for lush greenery, or late September through October for peak fall colors.
For indoor “at home” sessions, any time of year works perfectly I may use professional lighting to ensure a consistent, bright look regardless of the Cleveland weather.
+ What are the best colors to wear for a family photo?
To keep your portraits timeless, I suggest neutral earth tones (tan, olive, navy, cream) or rich jewel tones (burgundy, forest green shades of blue). Avoid bright neons or busy patterns that can distract from faces.
arrange for close matching colors so your family look coordinated and polished without looking identical.
+ How do you pose a large or multi-generational family?
I use my expertise and posing techniques to create visual balance and connection. Grandparents are often placed as the gentle focal point, while children and parents are arranged naturally so the composition feels warm and artistic rather than stiff.
+ What if my kids won’t sit still or get camera shy?
This is the most common concern I hear. I don’t force poses. I let kids play and be themselves while gently guiding the session. My patience with children helps capture genuine expressions and natural moments that truly feel like your real family.
+ How do I prepare for the session?
Neutral earth tones and soft textures (linen, knits, lace) photograph beautifully and stay timeless. The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and like themselves.
+ How long does a session take and where do we do it?
A standard family session is typically 75 minutes. For larger groups or multi-generational gatherings, we can extend the time as needed to get the best coverage. I specialize in in-home sessions because your home feels the most natural and comfortable, though I’m happy to shoot at a local park or any location you prefer.
+ What do I actually receive after the session?
You receive an online gallery with 30 to 80 professionally edited, high-resolution digital files ready for download.
Professional archival prints (printed in-house on museum-quality paper) are available as an add-on if you want physical keepsakes that will last for generations.
+ Is this a good fit for grandparents and extended family?
Yes. Many grandparents book these sessions specifically so their grandchildren and great-grandchildren will have beautiful, lasting photos of the family they helped build. I make sure the pace is comfortable for every generation, including seniors.
+ How much does a family session cost?
A standard family session starts at $450 for 75 minutes. For larger families or multi-generational gatherings, the base is $450 with additional time at $300 per hour. Pricing is clear and transparent with no hidden fees.
